This video was made back in 2017 for V.

Unfortunately, the 0.9.8 client no longer connects. It was a fantastic client, with a much cleaner no frills interface. You could also force 320 kb/s playback for free accounts via prefs file. It's no wonder Spotify was bent on sunsetting it?

Video was made to give 2011 vibes, featuring the age old and overused 009 Sound System!

Fortunately, there is a new user-made Spotify client made in Java for those who don't like the desktop app. It is skinable, and runs on Windows XP. It may be obtained here: https://github.com/werwolf2303/SpotifyXP
